We are offering an exceptionally rare placer on Spanish Creek located a half mile downstream of the famous Bean Hill hydraulic mine!
Large amounts of tertiary gravels were washed on Bean Hill in the 1900's downstream thru Bean Creek and into Spanish Creek directly into this claim. The gravels washed contained mainly well rounded quartz cobbles and of course gold. There are numerous benches on the claim with these gravels and these benches most likely are virgin below the hydraulic tailings. There are several areas of nice bedrock outcroppings in the creek with crevices running across the creek allowing for excellent gold traps ideal for metal detecting, sniping, high banking, etc. Claim is located in a nicely secluded area where you don't see many folks. Access to the claim is pretty good. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!

Driving Directions
From Quincy take the Quincy Oroville Highway west towards Bucks Lake. From Quincy travel 7 miles and turn right onto Silver Creek Road in Meadow Valley. Continue on Silver Creek for 1.9 miles and stay right at the fork just past the gravel plant. Travel .4 tenths of a mile and you will be very close to the south boundary of the claim. From this point the claim runs 1320 feet up Spanish Creek. Feel free to sample this awesome claim, you'll find color, we gaurantee it!!
