Vintage Solar Energy/Light Kits Vintage 1980s Science Fair, Chaney, Mr Sun Cell, Clover Solar Group
    - Please read the detail provided below, as i carefully took the time to describe these vintage kits. Each has there own specifics and condition issues. None are perfect, but generally they are all in good usable condition, ready to educate.
Radio Shack Science Fair - 25 Projects, Solar Power Lab No. 28-255
    - Fully Functional (tested) With manual, has 4 solar Selenium cells about 1/2" x1.5" - Checking against the manual, the only thing missing are the various lengths of wire, there should be 24 and we have 12. It should be relatively easy to find replacements. Makes radios, alarms, noise makers, flashers, light beam audio receiver and more.
Clover Solar Corp. Solar Energy Inventor Kit "Sun Power - Fun From The Sun" Kit No 105
    - Kit is sealed on the inside as shown in the photos, so it is complete. Comes with DC Motor, Wheels, Gears (Sidewinder) Axels, Solar Cell 1.5" x2.5" Selenium Composite, and instruction/idea sheet. Made in the USA  - Outer box has handling wear and a rip.
Qty 2 MR SUN CELL - Special Project Kit
    K10E
    - 10 Solar Cells (150 to 400 ma)prewired and encased in plastic, 10 DC Motors, 10 Propellers, 1 Kit appears complete per cover and manual. The other box has everything above and more including gears, props, motors more cells. There is only one manual between both kits, but there are two additional smaller parts bags with additional manual/instructions. So one is complete, and one is without manual but with more goodies.
MR SUN CELL - Multi Volt Power Supply Kit  Special Project Kit K9A (Assembled)-
Produces from .5 to 9V DC - includes power supply and original data sheet. Introduces, concept of solar, and diodes, to prevent reverse flow (from battery to panel) as this is also shown to demonstrate the ability to charge 1.5V (NiCad only) batteries. Appears complete.
    Solarts Solar Energy Project -SK50
    - DIY "harness the power of the sun" - Includes booklet, DC motor, propeller, solar cell encased in plastic, mainly sealed, looks unused except two pieces of tape hold the booklet and propeller onto the card.
Chaney Electronics Inc - Fantastic Simulated Laser Kit -C6394 -
The kit Appears to use a 555 timer IC to pulse power an LED to simulate pulsed laser output. 555 IC would be configured as an astable multivibrator; a transistor switching circuit that has no stable output states, constantly changing from one state to the other. Frequency would be controlled by resistor network (and potentiometer). By adjusting the resistance/pot the pulse frequency would control the led perhaps from slow to fast pulsed light. This operates on 9V dc battery as the battery clip is provided. This is an educated guess as the package is still sealed. I cant find any further information on the device or kit. I saw this in an old popular electronics as a project.
Chaney Electronics Inc - Super Burglar Chaser Sound and Light Kit C4654 -
Essentially a burglar alarm with flashing light and a loud buzzer horn. Also from a 1980s magazine if I remember correctly. Looks to have flash tube of sorts, high power supply, buzzer horn, Coil loop Relay for the "burglar alarm loop", transformer. Package is sealed so again this is my best guess.
